Welcome to Limelight Childcare, the new childcare provison in Galashiels. This exciting new nursery opened in May 2011 at Unit 11, Galabank Business Park, Wilderhaugh, Galashiels, TD1 1PR

At Limelight Childcare we provide safe, exciting, inspiring and enjoyable childcare for children 6 weeks to 12yrs.

Our professional staff work in accordance with Learning & Teaching Scotland Guidelines on Prebirth -3yrs, and A Curriculum for Excellence 3-5yrs. Staff also adhere to the Code of Practice as outlined by the Scottish  Social Services Council. We are also committed to complying with the National Care Standards for Early Education & Childcare up to 16yrs as identified by Social Care & Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS).

To this effect Staff:Child ratios will be:

Under 2yrs          1:3

2yrs-under3yrs  1:5

3yr & over           1:8

If all children 8 or over  1:10
